Details

Q is a regional quizzing event that takes place every two years at a Nazarene institution. In addition to several days of quizzing, students will experience worship, recreation, and the community that makes quizzing unique.

Q2024 will take place at Point Loma Nazarene University June 24-June 29, 2024.

Quizzing will take place in the following divisions:

Q2024 will begin Monday, June 24 at 3:00 pm (Pacific Time) and will conclude Saturday, June 29, at 1:00 pm (Pacific Time).

Registration for quizzers, coaches, officials, and volunteers includes all quiz sessions and worship services, on-campus housing Monday-Friday nights, meals Monday dinner-Saturday lunch, Q2024 materials and t-shirt.

Please note: Since registration link includes release forms, must be completed by a parent or legal guardian for a minor who is under the legal age of majority (under the age of 18), or someone who is mentally or physically unable to sign for him or herself.

Guest & Spectator Cost and Registration Details

On-Campus Overnight Guest

Early Registration (ends March 15) - $250

Regular Registration (ends April 15 - $260

Late Registration (ends May 15) - $270

Registration for on-campus overnight guest includes all quiz sessions and worship services, on-campus housing Monday-Friday nights, and meals Monday dinner-Saturday lunch.

Off-Campus Spectator - $20

Registration for off-campus spectators requires check-in on-site to receive a guest badge and includes all quiz sessions and worship sessions. Please note that meals will not be sold at the door.

Other Fees

Quiz Team Fee - $150 (registered and paid by coach)

Airport Shuttle - $20 per person roundtrip

Early Housing - $40 per person (Sunday, June 23)

Decades Quizzing - $10

Housing

All participants will be housed in the dorms at Point Loma Nazarene University. As you complete your registration, you will have the opportunity to provide a roommate preference and any other housing needs (such as family housing) and our housing coordinator will work to accommodate requests. Linens available are blanket, 2 flat sheets, pillowcase, pillow, bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth. We have limited availability of these items, so you will need to indicate if you need bedding and towels when you register.

A limited amount of housing for Sunday, June 23 is available for those participants whose travel brings them in early. Sunday Night Housing can be reserved as an add-on through the registration process for $40 per person and includes breakfast and lunch on Monday.

Airport Shuttle

For those flying into San Diego International Airport, NYI will have an airport shuttle available for those in need. Airport Shuttles can be reserved as an add-on through the registration process for $20 per person.
